Install ZCode

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists aiextra https://first-storm.github.io/aiextra-flatpak/aiextra.flatpakrepoflatpak install aiextra ai.z.ZCode

Start it from your application menu, or run:

flatpak run ai.z.ZCode

Update with flatpak update. Uninstall with flatpak uninstall ai.z.ZCode. The first install downloads ZCode from cdn-zcode.z.ai, so it can take a moment.

About

ZCode is an AI coding agent from Z.AI. This Flatpak wraps the official Linux desktop build; the app itself is downloaded directly from Z.AI's own distribution servers at install time and is not redistributed by this packaging.

ZCode's built-in terminal runs inside the Flatpak sandbox and only sees the programs the runtime provides, so git, node and compilers are not available to it. Use Z.AI's own AppImage or .deb if you need the agent to drive a full toolchain.

• Wayland display --socket=wayland
• X11 display (fallback) --socket=fallback-x11
• Sound and microphone --socket=pulseaudio
• GPU acceleration --device=dri
• Desktop notifications --talk-name=org.freedesktop.Notifications
• Keep the screen awake --talk-name=org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver
• Run commands on the host (flatpak-spawn) --talk-name=org.freedesktop.Flatpak
• System keyring --talk-name=org.freedesktop.secrets --talk-name=org.kde.kwalletd5 --talk-name=org.kde.kwalletd6
• Keeps ~/.zcode in the app's private data --persist=.zcode
